12-hydroxystearic acid
12-hydroxystearic acid is a fatty acid based on castor oil. 12-Hydroxystearic acid can be used in lubricants to improve lubricity and reduce friction and wear. 12-Hydroxystearic acid can also be used as a plasticiser and lubricant in plastics to improve the processability of plastics.
