Hydrogenated castor oil is obtained from castor oil. It has a high viscosity and is able to form a thin lubricating film that reduces friction and wear. It is used in machine lubricants, cutting oils and gear lubricants, among others. It is also used in cosmetics, e.g. in hair styling products.

For this purpose, we first developed a product carbon footprint (PCF), which details the emissions on a "cradle to gate" basis. In addition, we reduce emissions to a minimum through efficient logistics and intelligent warehouse locations in Europe.
